Katie Dempsey serves as Chief Operating Officer of NextGen Synergy, where she leads operational strategy, infrastructure development, and execution across the organization’s growing portfolio of initiatives.

With a strong background in systems development, regulatory alignment, and organizational performance, Katie ensures that bold vision translates into sustainable, high-quality implementation. She specializes in turning complex ideas into structured processes that drive measurable impact while maintaining a strong commitment to person-centered values.

Katie has extensive experience supporting provider organizations serving people with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities, with particular expertise in policy development, quality assurance, compliance, and workforce development. Her leadership emphasizes clarity, accountability, and collaboration ensuring that innovation is not only visionary, but operationally sound.

At NextGen Synergy, Katie plays a central role in scaling initiatives such as the Synergy Pass model, Project ECHO®, and the Synergy Institute Learning Management System. She is deeply committed to strengthening the infrastructure that allows agencies to expand knowledge, skill, and clinical capacity in support of people with IDD and co-occurring mental health conditions.
