Informed Decision Making

Dignity of risk is a part of life. We make risky decisions everyday, some big and some small, but we learn from them. Its important to make sure we offer those opportunities to people with disabilities as well. Part of dignity of risk is informed decision making. How to make sure people have the information they need to make the best decision possible. Dignity of risk is not putting people in harms way, rather building trust and ceding control over the lives of adults.
